Colts Grand Final Preview | Claremont vs. Swan Districts

Thursday, September 18, 2014 - 1:15 PM by Dan Scamozzi

Claremont (Colts) and Swan Districts will face each other for the second time in this season’s finals’ series when they square off in the 2014 WAFL Grand Final at Patersons Stadium this Sunday morning.

With the teams suffering just nine losses between them so far in 2014, the match will be a fitting finale to what’s been a terrific season of football.

The two clubs will square off for the fifth time this season, as the Tigers look to win back-to-back premierships.

With the 2nd Semi Final decided after the final siren two weeks ago, the match promises to be another cracking contest.

Claremont produced a heroic performance to defeat South Fremantle by one point in the Preliminary Final, while Swans will enter the clash having enjoyed the weekend off.

In all four previous meetings this season, neither team has been able to kick 100 points, suggesting the game will be won by the side who is able to convert their chances.

With warm temperatures expected, a fine day for football is set to showcase the future superstars of both clubs.

The Claremont Football Club encourages all supporters to attend the game.

Bounce down is at 8.30am.
