The Claremont Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Ashley Prescott as our Senior Coach for the next three seasons. Following an impressive AFL playing career at both Richmond and Fremantle Football Clubs, Prescott’s first coaching job came with the Claremont Colts in 2002 whilst playing League Football for the club before stepping into the Senior Coaching role in 2004 and taking the league side to 3 grand finals in 4 seasons. For the next 13 years Prescott has forged an enviable coaching resume with senior coaching roles at Essendon (2007-10), Fremantle (2010-13) and the Gold Coast Football Clubs (2014-20) before returning to WA this year.

“Across 20 years my coaching experience extends from Juniors, Indigenous programs, WAFL Colts, State 18’s, WAFL Senior level and then the last 13 years across 3 AFL clubs in Assistant and Development Coaching roles. I am more passionate and excited than ever before to apply my skills and experience to a new and dynamic role at Claremont Football Club. “said Prescott

Prescott will take the reigns of an exciting young list at a club which has led the competition for decades in providing opportunities for homegrown talent.
