BEST EVER TEAM [1946 – 1993]
A panel of experts was chosen to select the best Claremont team in the post-war period from 1946-1993. The team below is that selected.
If a team from 1926 – 1995 were to be selected, some players other than those listed below would obviously be included. Early stars such as George Moloney and Sammy Clarke would be automatic selections, whilst Keith Hough, Jack Reeves and Johnny Compton would warrant serious consideration. In the last few years, stars such as Ben Allan, Dale Kickett, Chris Lewis and Don Pyke would also be serious contenders.
