Claremont’s Reserves’ stunning form has continued, with the Tigers defeating Perth by 27 points at Fremantle Community Bank Oval last Saturday to record their fourth consecutive win.

The 15.14 (104) to 12.5 (77) victory was set up by a six-goal-to-one second term and moves Claremont ahead of Perth and into second position on the ladder.

League Report - Tigers Still Searching For Answers

Not only did Claremont lose 11.13 (79) to 13.9 (87) to Perth at Fremantle Community Bank Oval last Saturday despite recording 17 more inside 50s and two more scoring shots, a result which sees the Tigers one win outside the top five after five consecutive defeats, they also lost in a similar manner to their previous two matches.

After being second best up until three-quarter time and trailing by 22 points at the nine-minute mark of the final term, only then did the Tigers throw caution to the wind and revert to the football they played in their opening three wins; direct, quick and to the advantage of their forwards.

The new Clubrooms are in the final stages of construction with internal fit outs and external landscaping all happening and a frenetic pace.

Development Report - Dominant Tigers Demolish Thunder

An outstanding team performance saw Claremont’s Reserves record a thumping 92-point win over a listless Peel Thunder at Fremantle Community Bank Oval last Saturday.

The 22.15 (147) to 8.7 (55) victory gave Claremont three consecutive wins, and was built on the back of manic pressure, a will to work for each other, sublime skills by hand and foot and an ability to punish the opposition on the scoreboard as the Tigers recorded their biggest score and win since round 19, 2016, which also came against the Thunder.

Claremont’s disappointing run of form has continued, with the Tigers suffering a 23-point defeat to Peel Thunder at Fremantle Community Bank Oval last Saturday.

In a disappointing performance, the Tigers were held goalless in the opening term and never recovered in the 8.7 (55) to 12.6 (78) defeat, which leaves the team winless in four matches and outside the top five for the first time this season.
