CEO Dean Horsington Announces He Is Departing Tigerland

Tuesday, November 10, 2015 - 10:46 AM by Claremont Football Club

Dear Claremont FC Members and Supporters,

I would like to inform you all that I have handed in my notice of resignation. I am giving four (4) weeks' notice and will be leaving on Friday 4th December 2015.

I have loved being a part of the WAFC (2 years) and the CFC (7 years) for 9 years in a variety of roles including Youth Development Officer, District Manager, Football Operations Manager and Chief Executive Officer.

I am so happy that the club has acheived so many great results during my time including back to back 2011 & 2012 premierships in both League and Reserves, Foxtel Cup premiers in 2012, and seeing such quality young men come through our football system.

I have shared success with so many people at this great club and I have made lifelong friends with everyone I have been associated with during my time at the club.

I leave feeling satisfied with these great acheivements and the success that I have been a part of over the years is something that I am very proud of and I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I really appreciate the support of everyone during my football journey and I wish everyone the very best for the upcoming season. The football department is in great hands with Darrell Panizza as Director of Football, Michael Broadbridge leading this great young team in his third year with the support of Darcy Coffey (Football Operations Manager). I look forward to watching with great interest.

I really wish the staff all the best and I have enjoyed working with such a dedicated and committed team that really do have the best interest at heart when it comes to the Claremont Football Club.

I really appreciate the opportunity that the Claremont Football Club has given me over my 9 years and I now really look forward to starting the next phase of my working career which I've chosen to take in a different direction from football.

Kind Regards,

Dean Horsington
