Dear Claremont Football Club Member,

The Claremont Football Club last amended the Constitution in 1998. Some 17 years later the Board, led by Vice President Wayne Reynolds, has reviewed the Constitution and made the necassery changes to ensure that it is keeping with the forthcoming changes to the Associations Incorporations Act.

To enable the changes to the Constitution to be enacted, you, the Members, are required to endorse it at a special General Meeting of the Club.

The notice of the Special General Meeting is as follows:

SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING

DATE: Monday 19th October, 2015

TIME: 7.00pm

VENUE: Claremont Showgrounds - Members Lounge (Enter Gate 1 and the Members Lounge is located in the Main Pavillion RAS Grandstand)

BUSINESS: To consider and resolve by Special Resolution to repeal the existing Constitution of the Claremont Football Clib (Inc.) and adopt the proposed new Constitution attached herewith.

Further to the adoption of the new constitution, the Club has recently invested in a new Membership Database, which will replace the existing outdated Members register. You will be contacted personally by a representative of the Club to confirm your Membership register. Your co-operation would be appreciated.
