Grand Final Preview Claremont vs. Swan Districts
Claremont (Colts) will be looking to win its second premiership in three seasons when they face Swan Districts in the grand final at Domain Stadium on Sunday.
In what will be a repeat of last year’s decider, both teams have enjoyed dominant seasons and finished the home-and-away season in first and second position respectively.
This saw the Tigers enjoy a bye in the first week of finals, while Swans comfortably accounted for Peel Thunder in the qualifying final.
The two teams were pitted against each other in the second semi final at Bendigo Bank Stadium, where the Tigers ran out 23-point winners in one of their finest performances for 2015.
The Tigers then enjoyed a second bye in three weeks last weekend, while Swans once again defeated Peel.
In four meetings this season, Claremont have emerged victorious over Swans on three occasions, and will be looking to atone for last year’s loss in the corresponding fixture.
The club encourages all members and fans to attend the game and cheer on the mighty Tigers.
The club also invites all members to join the players, parents and coaching staff at the post match presentations in the Subiaco Sports Bar - Presidents Room at Domain Stadium from 11.30am - 12.30pm. (See map below)
Bounce down is 8.40am with Gate 8 at Domain Stadium opening at 8.00am.
Tickets can be purchased at Gate 8 from 7.45am, but to avoid the line and to be in the running for a Holden Cruize the club would recommend that you pre-purchase your tickets in advance from Ticketmaster - CLICK HERE
