Round 23 Preview Claremont vs. West Perth
It’s a simple equation for Claremont when they take on West Perth at HBF Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Win, and the Tigers will reclaim fifth position ahead of Swan Districts (who have the bye) and qualify for finals.
Lose, and the planning for 2016 begins.
In what’s been a rollercoaster season at times, it’s perhaps fitting that it comes down to the wire and that the team’s fate is in its own hands.
The Tigers lost their opening five matches, won their next five and have recorded four wins in their past nine.
An agonising 11-point loss to Swans in round 22 has the team’s season hanging by a thread, while the Falcons have secured second position and are unbeaten at home in 2015.
Ian Richardson kicked four goals in the loss to Swans – a season-best for the popular Tiger.
The player known simply as “Richo” is set to line up in his 150th game as his amazing career notches another milestone.
The club encourages all members and fans to make the trip and cheer on the mighty Tigers.
Bounce down is 2.15pm.
