Round 21 Preview Claremont vs. East Fremantle
Claremont host East Fremantle at the Show Grounds on Saturday in a pivotal clash which could have a massive bearing on the Tigers’ chances of playing finals.
In what will be the hosts’ final home game for the season, a win could see the team return to fifth position depending on other results, while a loss could leave the side two games outside the top five.
Both clubs enter the clash in contrasting fashion, yet both suffered disappointing losses in round 20.
The Tigers had their chances against East Perth but were wasteful in defeat, while East Fremantle were humiliated by West Perth and have lost their past 10 games.
East Fremantle defeated Claremont by three points when the two teams met back in round four, before the Tigers obliterated the Sharks in round 14.
The Tigers will be sweating on the fitness of key duo Mark Seaby (knee) and Kepler Bradley (hamstring), while Jake Murphy (hamstring) and Shane McAdam (ill) both missed the loss to the Royals.
With away matches against Swan Districts and West Perth to round out the season, the club encourages all Claremont members and fans to attend the game and cheer on the mighty Tigers as they continue their push towards finals.
Bounce down is 2.15pm.
