Round 3 Preview Claremont vs. South Fremantle
Claremont travels to Fremantle Oval on Good Friday to face South Fremantle following a bye in round two.
The Tigers will be out to make amends following their disappointing finish against Subiaco in round one, and could welcome some senior players back into the side.
The Bulldogs are off to a solid start under new coach Todd Curley – winning their opening two games against West Perth and Perth respectively.
The teams shared the honours in 2014, with the Bulldogs recording victory in the corresponding fixture, before the Tigers ran out winners at the Show Grounds later in the season.
Brandon Franz has barely put a foot wrong in the Claremont defence in recent seasons, and he looks like being assigned the dangerous task of minding former Tigers’ player and now Bulldog Ben Saunders who kicked four goals against the Demons.
The Tigers will fancy their chances of kicking a winning score if midfielders Tom Ledger, Corey Yeo, Oliver Tate, Ryan Neates, Kiefer Yu and Ryan Lim can give the forward line first use of the football.
The Claremont Football Club encourages all fans to attend the game as the Tigers look to record their first win for the season.
Bounce down is at 6.00pm, while the Reserves begin at 3.15pm and Colts 12.45pm.
