The Claremont Football Club have announced their jumper numbers for the 2015 WAFL season with plenty of new faces in some famous numbers.

With 4 time Club Champion and Sandover Medallist Luke Blackwell retiring at the end of 2014, not only were there some big shoes to fill in the team but also the champion midfielders famous #3 jersey. 

However, we didn’t have to look too far with emerging leader and former colts captain Hugo Breakey the perfect candidate to epitomise the hard work and tiger values that were a signature of Blackwell’s #3 in his time at the club.

The returning Ian Richardson, Tom Swift and Beau Maister will resume in #4, #35 and #42 respectively as all three will provide welcome sights for the loyal members. Boom recruits Haydn Busher will move into the vacant #15, and North Ballarat premiership player Oliver Tate will remain in his former club number of #16.

Other significant number changes include ball magnet Corey Yeo stepping into the retiring Matt Ozel’s #6, and utility Matthew Goyder sliding down to premiership star Andrew Foster's #11.
