Former Docker Joins Tigers Development Team
The Claremont Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Kepler Bradley as our new Player Development Officer for 2015 and beyond.
With an extensive football background after eleven years in the AFL system and a passion for development and coaching, Bradley will utilise his experience to get the best out of our current playing squad as well as helping to foster the next generation of Tiger champions through our talent pathway.
After retiring from the AFL last year following 117 games with Essendon & Fremantle, Bradley completed his level three coaching accreditation with the view to pursue a career in football administration.
The recent restructure of Claremont’s football department presented Bradley with the opportunity to pursue his career ambitions while the club anticipates his addition will add further quality to the administration ranks.
The primary focus of the role will see Kepler take on a player welfare, help to facilitate Great Southern and Kimberley player’s transition to the club and the metro area and to assist the High Performance Manager and Talent Development Officer in the delivery of high performance development programs.
Claremont CEO Dean Horsington had this to say about the addition of Bradley to the football department:
“Kepler is a good quality person and will fit into our football department with ease.”
“His recent involvement in the AFL system and knowledge of footballer’s needs and requirements will certainly assist the football department and help to assit the development and transition of our country and metro players which is a very important area for our club going forward.”
Bradley, in addition to his employment at the club, is looking forward to finishing his playing career at the Claremont Football Club. Both the Claremont Football Club and West Perth Football Club are currently in talks working through the transfer negotiations.
Bradley may join Beau Maister, Tom Swift & Ian Richardson as other high profile players returning to the Tigers in 2015.
