The Claremont Football Club is aware of the allegations of player abuse from a private residence surrounding Claremont Oval on Saturday 18th May. We have spoken to the tenant in question about what we consider appropriate barracking and expressed our Club’s position on verbal exchanges with players on the field. We have communicated this course of action to the Peel Football Club and they are satisfied to put the matter to rest.
If antisocial behaviour is reported in future from the residences surrounding the oval, the matter will be conveyed to the strata management company responsible for the respective dwellings and dealt with internally.
