Claremont host South Fremantle at Claremont Oval in NAIDOC Round on Saturday in what is a must-win clash for the Tigers.

Following their agonising two-point defeat to Peel Thunder, the sixth-placed Tigers will be aiming for their seventh win of the season, while the second-placed Bulldogs are coming off a bye.

NAIDOC Round celebrates the heritage, achievements and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Claremont and South Fremantle instigated WAFL NAIDOC Round in 2007 when they wore jumpers designed by Aboriginal artist Richard Walley. 

The club encourages members and supporters to attend the match and cheer the Tigers to victory.

1. Will the Tigers record their fourth consecutive win at Claremont Oval? To do so, they’ll have to defeat the Bulldogs, who are currently the highest-scoring team in the competition.
2. A win for Claremont and a loss for West Perth will see the Tigers replace the Falcons in the top five.
3. The club is calling on the Tiger army to attend the game and help turn Claremont Oval into a fortress.
