2017 is set to be a big year for the Claremont Football Club with the completion of the redevelopment at Claremont Oval, as the mighty Tigers get set to return home under a new-look coaching panel.

Darren Harris has replaced Michael Broadbridge as senior coach and will lead the club into its new era, with the West Perth premiership captain and coach to operate alongside several new faces.

Steve Trewhella, a three-time West Perth premiership player who captained the Falcons to their 2003 flag under the coaching of Harris, will be in charge of Claremont’s back line, while Geoff Valentine, another Falcons premiership player, will be in charge of team defence.

West Coast Eagles premiership player and Norm Smith medallist Andrew Embley has been appointed midfield coach, while North Beach Colts coach Craig Dalton will be in charge of the forward line.

Dual East Fremantle premiership player Damien Condon will be bench coach.

After coaching Claremont’s Reserves to the 2016 premiership, Kepler Bradley will remain in the role and will also assist with the ruck and midfield divisions for the League team.

Gavin Saxon will be in charge of the Reserves’ backline, while Craig White will be in charge of the midfield.
