The Claremont District Junior Umpires have started pre-season in preparation for a big 2010 with the first session having been conducted towards the end of March.
Umpiring is great for young people to be involved in as it teaches them life skills such as tolerance, assertiveness, leadership, decision making and management. In addition to teacheing young people great life skills you also earn some very handy pocket money with payments ranging from between $26-$30 for a 9’s/Yr4 game and up to $70 a game for 17’s !!
This year we are introducing the Umpire/Parent Mentor Program. Please click on the link to learn more about it.
For more information you can view the flyer on umpiring. If you would like to submit a form, you can fill it out and post it to Sam Cousens at PO Box 59 Claremont WA 6910.
