The Claremont Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of the new Colts coach Ben Dyer.

Ben is currently living in Brisbane and has been working for the Brisbane Lions Football Club as the Head Coach of the Brisbane Lions Academy. In this role Ben oversees selection, preparation, and coaching of academy squads to optimise player performance and individual development. Ben will be moving to back to Perth in mid December.

Darcy Coffey (Talent Manager) says “Ben’s time at the Lion’s will hopefully help the Tigers pick up new skills and help make the Claremont Football Club the strongest development club in the WAFL”. Ben has had extensive experience as a coach being a WA State 16’s assistant 2010, Swan Districts FC Head Coach 16’s Development squads 2007-2010. Ben was also the North Melbourne Football Club’s WA recruiting Officer 2008-2010.

Ben is also a teacher and looks to be heading back to La Salle College as the Head Of Sport.

The Claremont Football Club looks forward to having Ben on board and I’m sure he will be welcomed by everyone.
